Refund policy

Refunds: If you cancel at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time, your entry qualifies for a refund. Eligible refunds are processed automatically and returned to the original payment method within 24 hours.

Player cancellation

Refundable: cancellation made ≥ 1 hour before the event start time.
Not refundable: cancellation made within 1 hour of start, after start, or for no-shows.
If an event has no published start time, refunds are not available (start time is required to apply the 1-hour rule).

Organiser cancellation

If the organiser cancels the event, paid entries are refunded back to the original payment method where possible.

Use the Check entry / Profile page (you’ll need your Entry ID).

Organiser: ShowtimeCompetitions • Registration fees are administrative service fees (not wagers or bets). Prizes (if offered) are awarded manually by the organiser after results verification. Games/results are hosted on Lichess. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Lichess.org.

Minimum players & automatic refunds This event requires a minimum number of paid entries to run. If the minimum is not reached by 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, the event will be cancelled and all paid entries will be refunded automatically to the original payment method. Refunds may take a few days to appear depending on your bank/card provider.
