Rules

Keep it simple: play fairly, use your own account, follow platform rules, and accept that admin decisions are final for this event.

Paid registration: payment confirms entry. Unpaid entries are not confirmed and may expire.
Use your own Lichess account and the handle you registered with.
Fair play: no engines, no outside assistance, no sandbagging, no multi-accounting.
Platform enforcement: if the platform bans/disqualifies a player, we may void their entry or prize.
Strong: if Lichess closes/flags an account for fair-play violations connected to the event, prizes are forfeited and the entry may be voided.
No show / missed games: Lichess handles pairing/timeouts according to its rules. If you don’t show up, you’ll lose points/time on Lichess — we don’t replay rounds.
Connectivity: you’re responsible for your own device/internet setup.
Admin decisions: by entering, you accept admin decisions for scheduling, eligibility, and prize awarding.

Important: This site manages registration records and admin only. Games and results are hosted on Lichess.

Organiser: ShowtimeCompetitions • Registration fees are administrative service fees (not wagers or bets). Prizes (if offered) are awarded manually by the organiser after results verification. Games/results are hosted on Lichess. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Lichess.org.

Minimum players & automatic refunds This event requires a minimum number of paid entries to run. If the minimum is not reached by 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, the event will be cancelled and all paid entries will be refunded automatically to the original payment method. Refunds may take a few days to appear depending on your bank/card provider.
